IPM – International Promoters Meeting, the first Italian meeting of the music entertainment industry, with the aim of increasing the value of the local and national network of music promoters and facilitating the relations between them and their international analogues.
International Promoters Meeting Conference is a professional aggregative moment, an opportunity for a comparison, a new platform for the exchange of experiences, case histories and new trends: in the middle there’s the promoter, a strategic link between artist and audience, an expert and coordinator of all the elements of the music industry that he manages to promote, often in an innovative and profitable way: public and private institutions, media and new media, venues, companies.
The promoter as an example of cultural entrepreneurship and possible economic motive force of the Third Millennium.
Key players of the Music Industry and Entertainment, willing to share successful experiences and to observe their own world from a privileged platform of comparison understanding which direction society, culture and market are moving to.
The numerous workshops & panels represent un unmissable appointment for the Promoter because it is here that he can discuss the real important topics for him and for those with which he is used to work: companies, institutions, media, record labels and booking agencies. All of them motivated by the same objective: grow within a professional network that must be active and pay attention to all the news of the music and entertainment industry.
La Pelanda
Also this year Conference will be held at the cultural centre La Pelanda, a temple of the contemporary art developed in a ex-slaughterhous in Rome district Testaccio.
La Pelanda is an area of 5000 square meters hosted in the ex-Mattatoio (Slaughterhouse) and intended for exhibitions, educational activities and workshops. An example of industrial architecture, the result of an excellent restoration lasted more than three years, is now an innovative and flexible space that host various events.
The IPM Conference
La Pelanda is going to be organized into different spaces in which there will be parallel activities, over the two days 11th and 12th of July:
- Conference area with Panels e workshops
- Meet & Greet, an informal space where delegates can meet and discuss about business and opportunities
- Masterclasses: DJs testimonials of the most important music instruments and technologies companies, explain how they use those instruments to delegate
- Networking Bar where you can relax, work in a relaxed mood and enjoy a showcase
- Private meeting rooms can also booked for private meeting.
The entire area of the conference is provided with wireless reserved for IPM.
